What started with an engineered flood vent, continued with a home product, an energy system, an insurance brokerage, and so much more. We strive to bring our ideas to life and continuing to educate communities around the nation on the importance of flood mitigation.

SMART VENT
1997
Smart Vent Products, Inc. was established in 1997 and introduced the first ever ICC-ES Certified line of Engineered Flood Vents. These patented vents have paved the way for other innovative flood vents and accessories, and provide more than 100 million sq. ft. of flood protection across the world. Smart Vent’s dedication to the safety and security of its customers has made them a staple in the flood mitigation industry and helped the company expand its offerings into other aspects of flood protection.
RISK REDUCTION PLUS GROUP
2014
Risk Reduction Plus Group was then developed due to customers’ demands to offer reasonable flood insurance. Using its F.R.E™ tool, RRPG is able to use their vast knowledge of flood resiliency and rating to provide real-life solutions that can help greatly lower flood premiums. RRPG specializes in NFIP and Private Flood Insurance options in all 50 states. In 2016, the Risk Reduction Plus Group agency expanded their product line and began offering Home, Commercial, and Auto insurance throughout NY, PA, NJ & DE.

FREEDOM FLOOD VENT

The Freedom Flood Vent was developed from the need of wanting to help homeowners save energy and money while also properly mitigating a property. It is an engineered flood vent made out of durable polycarbonate that is certified to cover 250 sq. ft. It is usable in crawl spaces, garages, & full height enclosures. It allows for bi-directional flow of flood waters to relieve hydrostatic pressure from foundation walls in the event of a flood. It's ICC-ES certified, FEMA, NFIP & building code compliant, and made in the United States.
